The Rose Bowl presents Bimmerfest 2014. BMW has come to show off the new i8 (see past posting) and the new M4. There were plenty of M3’s from different generations, new BMW M5 and M6, and aftermarket wheels from HRE, VIBE, Stance, Sothis, etc. Surprisingly of all performance aftermarket upgrades, brakes have been taking a huge presence at events. It is about time because wheels definitely make a huge visual upgrade but stock brakes typically look horrible especially when they are sliding calipers (single or dual piston). Of course you need bigger and better brakes when you increase the side of the wheels (basic physics). Brands from R1 Concept, Stop-Tech, Brembo, and Sparta had their impressive displays. LT Mortowerks (LTMW) also has made a huge impression on the BMW community. Everywhere I turned, another impressive wide-body kit from LibertyWalk Performance for BMW on display by LT Motorwerks.
