BMW M5 with AWD

Yes AWD. So long rear wheel drive. Smaller displacement engines, more turbos. Rear wheel drive to all-wheel drive. What’s going on? Efficiency. Not only fuel, carbon emmissions, etc. Engineers are tweaking in a way where we lose, we gain. All that power is now going to be put that effectively so you get the most bang (or speed) for the power it is delivering.

It’s competing with Mercedes new radical E63 AMG that can handle like it’s rear wheel drive but all the benefits of All Wheel Drive.
