SV stands for Super Veloce meaning super light. This will be a very rare version of the Aventador directly from the manufacturer. Only 200 will be made and they are all sold out. It has 740 horsepower, 0-60mph in 2.8 seconds, and only 200 of 600 scheduled to come to North America and they are all said to be sold out. You can probably buy it with a huge mark-up from 3rd party. Claims to have 170% more downforce than the original Aventador and better aerodynamics, magnetic suspension seen in Ferrari’s (General Motors invention, yes, American device but perfected by Italians.) By the way, it still keeps the natural aspirated V12 engine, louder engine, and super fast Nurburgring lap time of just under 7 minutes.
From Auto Express journalist, Steve Sutcliffe gives his take on the Aventador SV. He also gets a lucky chance to run one lap as hard as he can.
