Yeah you been doing it wrong. Chef Naomichi Yasuda teaches us how to eat sushi the way it was intended.
Common Errors:
1. You’re not supposed to eat sushi with ginger together. It’s BAD MANNER! (Japanese thing) It’s meant to cleanse your palette.
2. You’re dipping the sushi in soy sauce wrong.
– Dip lightly on one side. (roll)
– Sushi (not a roll) it’s little more complicated to explain but after you dip, don’t shake it. Little joke in video.
3. You eat rolls with your hand. Not chopsticks.
4. Don’t dip the ginger in the soy sauce.
FYI.. Wasabi is not horseradish. It’s a japanese vegetable.
