Hennessey Venom GT is World’s Fastest Car (For now)

Hennessey Venom GT is the World’s Fastest Car.  For now… We are waiting for Koenigsegg Agera One to confirm their theoretical top speed of 283 mph.
270.49 MPH!  Mind you this has not been confirmed by Guinness World Record books.
It’s a kit car, we all know it. Don’t compare it to a Bugatti Veyron or even Shelby Super Cars (SSC). They are manufacturers. Hennessey is a performance shop.
Venom GT is based on a stretched out Lotus Exige platform, Corvette engine, and Ford Transmission.
Put all the comparison aside, this is a bad ass super car!

EVO stops by Hennessey Performance shop to check out Venom GT

EVO checks out Hennessey’s Venom GT in attempt to break world speed record (Guinness World Record). They talk about how much power it has and what the car did to the Dyno machine. I like the quote from Matt Farah by Rolls Royce, “Horsepower ample”. I don’t think anyone else could have said it better.
